​WATERCOLOR 1: Techniques

November 14, 2025 - Our Class started painting with watercolors today. We learned 12 different watercolor techniques: flat wash, graded wash 1 color, graded wash 2 colors, wet-on-wet, dry brush, sgraffitto, blotting, lifting off, sun lift, splatter, and straw blow. We even used salt to create a cool texture. We had a lot of fun painting with watercolor. Our paintings look great. Next week, we will use the techniques we've learned to paint sunsets. It's going to be fun!
