2. What word is spelled wrong in every dictionary? (1pt.)
3. Name ten parts of the body that spelled with three letters each. (1pt.)

7. Mr. Pham says, “Last week, I was 54 years old but next year I will turn 57.” How is this possible? Shouldn’t he be 55? Can you explain it? (3pts.) 🦃

3.  rib, jaw, gum, hip, arm, lip, leg, eye, ear, and toe.

Spooky Hyenas Halloween

10/18/2025

At the end of Halloween night, after giving out candies to the creepy and crawly kids, Mr. Pham, dressed as Superman because he has so many muscles, had LESS THAN 20 candies left. He was about to eat them all when the doorbell rang...
When he opened the door, he saw Hyena Mila and Hyena Michael asking for treats, so painfully, he divided his candies evenly into two piles, there was ONE candy leftover.
Suddenly, another Spooky kid came running in, it was Hyena Ivan. So he divided his candies into three even piles, and there was ONE candy leftover.
Just when he was about to give out the candies, another Spooky kid ran to the door. It was Hyena Queen Kailani herself! So Mr. Pham divided the candies into four even piles and gave a pile to each kid. Again, there was ONE candy leftover. So he ate it!
The question is, exactly how many candies Mr. Pham had just BEFORE the Spooky Hyenas came to the door? (4 points)
Picture
ANSWER: Mr. Pham had 13 candies left when the doorbell rang.
13
÷ 2 = 6 with 1 candy left over
13 ÷ 3 = 4 with 1 candy left over
13 ÷ 4 = 3 with 1 candy left over

RIDDLE 1:  Taco-Nab, Corny-Riley, Pizza-Cal, and Burger-Mel went to a haunted house on Halloween night dressed as their scary selves. 😱
Upon entering the house, they have to choose 1 out of 3 creepy doors 🚪🚪🚪.
  • Door A leads to the biggest and hottest fire. 🔥
  • Door B leads to a pack of cute but deadly cat ninjas with sharp claws. 🐱‍👤
  • Door C leads to a hungry werewolf that hasn't eaten for years. 🐺
Which door should these scary-looking students pick so they can come back to school on Monday to see their beloved teacher?
(Bonus point: Explain why did they choose that door?)
ANSWER: Door C. After years of not eating, the werewolf would already been dead so it's safe to enter.

RIDDLE 2: The Pumpkin Queen Olivia and Pumpkin Princess Olivia went trick-o-treating. At one house, instead of candies, Pumpkin Queen received a couple of coins. Pumpkin Princess asked, "How much money did they give you?" Pumpkin Queen answered, "I got a total of 30 cents, but one coin is NOT a nickel. What are the coins?" The Pumpkin Princess has no idea.
Can you figure it out?

Picture
Princess Daphne is the new Rapunzel in the movie "Tangled 2." In this movie, the princess' hair grew 100 feet longer while waiting for new prince, "Dopey", to come to the tower.
If the princess h
air grows one inch every two months, then how long (in months or years) had the fair maiden Daphne been trapped in the tower until Prince Dopey rang the castle bell?
Facts:  1 foot = 12 inches, 1 year = 12 months

ANSWER:
2 months = 1 inch, so 12 months (1 year) = 6 inches,
then
2 years = 12 inches = 1 foot.
Therefore,  100 ft. x 2 years = 200 years (or 2,400 months)

ANSWER:
1st contest
: If 2 snails = 3 frogs,
