ART: The COLOR Wheel

September 5 - Room B1 5th grade students explored the relationship of colors in creating a color wheel during Art Time. Using tempera paint, they started with the three primary colors: red, blue, yellow. Then they mixed the colors to create secondary colors, and then tertiary colors. The process requires precision and at times, messy, and our young artists struggled a bit in mixing that perfect blue/green color, but the results are beautifully created wheels in different shades of bright colors.
We really enjoy our art time and this is just the beginning of many more art work to come. Until next time artists!
