STEM: Catapults

August 15, 2025 - We did a STEM project called “Catapults” using 10 popsicles sticks, rubber bands, and a spoon to build a device that can launch a foam board across the cafeteria floor as far as possible. Although we struggled with building the catapults, but in the end, there were three successful catapults. During the competition, Olivia and Callie's catapult launched the foam ball 12.5 feet becoming the first winners of our class STEM program. Their picture will be on the classroom Wall of Fame. We all had fun building catapults.
